Asian-American Puppet Impact Forum

Preserving traditional culture practices in a changing World is an ongoing process. In 2022, Chinese Theatre Works collaborated with CHINOPERL, the Rewen Society at China Institute, and Center for Theater Art Collaborations/SUNY Binghamton to present a forum exploring the cross-exchange of Asian and American puppetry in contemporary practice. Moderated by Dr. Sun Dong, this discussion highlighted the work and voices of seven prominent Asian puppet theaters & directors working around the wold.
